Best CS / Leadership Training

Hi all,

I'm a year into my role as the Dir of Success at my org, and we're in a rapid growth stage. I'd like to start the new year with a plan for my own growth and development, via an online course or an event, and I'm looking for some suggestions.

I've checked out The Success League's leadership course and it looks decent. Would anyone recommend this in particular?

Thanks in advance for your ideas!

I would recommend it (I’ve taken it). There are some great templates that you can use right away. As a disclaimer, I am on their advisory committee.

    Hey Miranda,

I looked into the program as well, and it seems pretty interesting. I can't take the course right now due to other commitments but I am looking to maybe take it in July. If you decide to take it will you let me know what you think.

Yesterday my manager recommended this course from Winning by Design: https://winningbydesign.com/revenue-academy/course-managing-for-leadership/. I’ll take it next quarter.

    Hello everyone,

I'm new to GGR but been in CS for 10+ years! In my current role I'm leading efforts to formalize a small CS team. I too am looking for feedback or experience with CS leader training & first-time CSM development. We need to get everyone at the same foundational point from a CS perspective.

Besides exploring The Success League, I'm wondering if anyone is familiar with Customer Success Collective training offerings?

And I'm scrolling through options with Customer Success Association catalogue.

Firsthand recommendations, tips, advice all welcome!

    Best,

    Charlene

Not an online training but I would highly recommend the book(s):

    "The Customer Success Professional's Handbook"

"Customer Success: How Innovative Companies Are Reducing Churn and Growing Recurring Revenue"

"The Customer Success Economy (Why Every Aspect of Your Business Model Needs A Paradigm Shift)".

I have found these books to be way more informative than online trainings and have helped me stand up a Customer Success program for my company.
