JOB TITLE: Customer Success Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION: This role is part of an efficiency-oriented model aligned to customers with growth potential. This CSM will be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities and engaging with customers to help drive value at scale using tools and processes. It's a challenging but very rewarding experience for any CSMs who are hungry and maniacal about their customers' and SecurityScorecard's success and want to develop a lot of experience in CS very quickly!
JOB RELATIONSHIP TO YOU: I (Chris) am the Director of Customer Success at SecurityScorecard, so this position would be one of my team members - equally invested in a team-oriented approach to our whole team's success, and responsible for shattering expectations around the most underserved customer segment, traditionally aligned to "efficiency-oriented" and/or "growth potential" customers!

Having worked for SecurityScorecard for nearly (February 2021) 4 years, I can personally attest the high-paced but very exciting cybersecurity industry. According to Gartner, "By 2022, security ratings will become as important as credit ratings when assessing the risk of business relationships." While major breaches (*cough SolarWinds cough*) occur on a seemingly weekly basis, supply chain risk and the impacts of COVID's push to remote work environments makes Security Ratings providers like SecurityScorecard that much more critical! This company has been an absolute rocket ship in my ~4 years here!
ABOUT OUR COMPANY: We're able to evaluate any company using publicly-available data from the outside in - akin to seeing the Google Street view equivalent of ANY company's external cybersecurity posture. This is incredibly important in mitigating supply chain risk and evaluating your external vendors (e.g. your payroll provider) who can pose significant risks to your business or even your customers' data.
