JOB TITLE: Manager, Customer Success Manager (Commercial Accounts)


LOCATION: Austin, TX (willing to relocate)



We are looking for an experienced manager to join our fast growing Customer Success organization and lead a team of Commercial Customer Success Managers based in Austin. You will recruit, hire and manage a diverse team of talented CSMs, supporting them with their professional development through mentorship and coaching. 

The Commercial Customer Success Team works closely with a wide range of innovative and impressive customers including SMB, government, and education institutions. Our team guides customers through a holistic customer journey, ensuring they are able to achieve their business objectives and ultimately realize the value of using Airtable.

What you will do:

  • Support the growth and development of your team by recruiting, hiring, training and coaching top talent
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Ops teams to develop thoughtful and innovative approaches driving success with customers at scale
  • Support your team in prioritizing their time, activity and engagement with customers across a large book of business 
  • Serve as the voice of the customer with cross-functional and leadership teams by engaging in product discussions, translating customer usage and feedback into actionable insights and feature ideas
  • Implement, standardize and scale key steps in our customer journey in order to drive usage and long-term success with customers

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years of sales or customer success experience, preferably within a Enterprise SaaS organization
  • You have 2+ years of experience leading a customer facing team 
  • You thrive and lead effectively in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
  • You have experience managing customers at scale and implementing programs and playbooks
  • You are analytical and comfortable using data to inform decisions and prioritization
  • You execute with excellence and have a deep track record of creating significant impact for your team and customers
  • You are a detail-oriented, resourceful and creative problem solver, never losing sight of the "why" behind the "what"
