    Hi everyone!

My name is Austin Hawk, and I'm exploring a career transition from education-I'm an assistant principal with a background in teaching-into the field of Customer Success. I haven't started applying for positions yet, but my goal is to start applying to positions within the next two months. I'm currently taking the Level 1 CS Program through SuccessCOACHING and really enjoying what I'm learning.

Looking forward to connecting with everyone

    Hello everyone,

My name is Devan and I’m currently applying for jobs in the CS industry. I’ve worked in the customer service field for over a decade and I’m ready to take my career to the next level. I’m currently an account manager at a dairy store company. I just completed a program to become a Salesforce Administrator and am now studying to take the exam. I have a genuine passion for helping others and love to see others succeed. I am open to any tips regarding the transition into this field and building my network. Have a great holiday everyone.

    Hello, Carly and everyone here.
I'm excited to start my journey into the CS world. It can be a scary place for anyone looking to take a turn in their career path. I am thankful that there are resources like GGR out there that can help smooth the path to transition.
I'm looking forward to learning as much as possible and eventually giving back to the community.
I look forward to meeting others here and getting to know many in the industry.
Hello all!  I am a CSM going into my 3rd year.  I'm glad to be a part of the community to both learn and to help others.  For those of you who are former educators, @cdcsm and @erica.hadrick, I am one of you!  After 20 years in education, I have moved on.  Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Hi everyone! My name is Kartikey Bhatia and I am a CSM in the Fintech space for 2 years now. I am glad to be a part of this community and looking to upskill myself even more as I learn how best to grow and maximise the customer value :)
Hi everyone! My background is education. I am currently an English as a Second Language teacher. In my field of work, I am responsible for coaching and providing onboarding services. I am actively applying to CS positions, connecting with CSM's, joining groups, and I am enrolled in SuccessHacker. I have learned so much over the last couple of months. I am so glad that I came across this resource today. Iook forward to learning more about the responsibilities of csm's.

Hi Everyone! I am have a Quality Assurance (specifically in health/wellness programming) in the non-profit world. I love being in a customer-facing role, which has led me to find CSM. I have been applying to CSM roles and so far I've received some rejection letters.

I've been debating about taking the CSM certification.

Looking forward to connecting with everyone :)

Hello Carly and everyone! I’m coming from a Multifamily and hospitality background and have been applying for CSM roles the past month. I am currently considered for an intro interview for one company I applied to and I am of course preparing for it. I love the podcast and hope to network and continue to learn more about the CSM industry.

    Hi!
I'm a teacher looking to transition out of the classroom. I have been applying to CSM positions almost exclusively for the last month, but still waiting an interview. I am trying to upskill and network as much as possible in the interim.
Hi there!  I am currently a technology coach and Library Media Specialist in education looking to transition into a CSM role.  I also have a corporate background in customer service so I am thinking those skills will help em out as well.  I would love any tips to make a transition into CS!
Hey Carly and everybody! My name’s Nic Noland, I’m looking for a remote Jr. CSM role.

I’ve worked as a “wears many hats” customer success associate for a year at a series A startup and would love to go deeper in CS.

I love people and automating/building things with low-code/no code tools :)

Hi! I'm a customer support specialist working in a hybrid support-success role, and I'm working on building a role for myself in the company I'm in. Looking forward to learning with you all!

    Hi Carly and everyone!

I am based in Europe (France), certified CSM with jolt.io and currently applying and interviewing for CSM roles.

My experience is varied, from customer relations and sales to coaching and mentoring. I was also a semi-professional athlete :-)

While I get a positive feedback, I haven't gotten an offer yet and I always try to improve myself.

Hi Carly! I am currently exploring the CS realm as well as applying to roles. I made it to a second-round interview last week, but I was ultimately not chosen. I am working to articulate my transferable skills as I am transitioning from higher education. I could use any and all tips and tricks for making a successful transition.
