This is very helpful! I am incentivized on producing customer case studies (which is something I have never done in 10 years of CS). I was searching older posts for information to learn if this is typical. In working with customers, I of course know if they are meeting their goals, have good adoption/usage, are champions of the product, etc. and can identify data and metrics to support their success. In the past, I would typically identify customers for marketing to work with to gather case studies but in my new (small) company, we do not have a marketing person so this was part of my job description.
