I work at Mento, a coaching platform built to drive performance at work. We help organizations develop their leaders through 1:1 coaching and mentorship from experts who have done the job, accelerated by AI for faster, measurable results.

We're currently hiring a fully remote Mid-Market Customer Success Manager to join our team. We're especially interested in candidates with experience in coaching platforms, L&D technology, or HR tech, as well as experience working with and selling to HR personas.

Base Salary:
$105K – $115K • Offers Equity • with Variable Commission Pay ($30K - $40K OTE)

Brian, strong JD, the "own the outcomes, not just the accounts" framing will self-select for the right people. One suggestion for a first CSM hire: add a short real-case assessment to the process, a case that evaluates what this seat actually lives on. Since they own renewals and expansion from day one, you could hand them a real-ish account quietly heading to churn (flat usage, champion just left, renewal in 60 days) and ask for their week-one plan plus the email they'd send the customer. Score it on three things: how early they spot risk, how they prioritize, and how they write to a VP of People. You'll learn more from that than from most of the interview.
